RationalWiki's 2019 Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff – we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

If everyone who saw this today donated $5, we would meet our goal for 2019.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

MoveOn.org is an American website and political action group. It was originally founded to oppose the impeachment proceedings against President William Jefferson Clinton by House Republicans (led by Newt Gingrich) in 1998[1]. The irony of the organization being originally founded to get us to move on from Clinton's improprieties now constantly reminding people of those improprieties every time they see its name seems to be lost on them. The organization is a strong supporter of the US Democratic Party and is liberal in its politics, and is widely disliked by the American right who think they are raving partisan leftists.

Recently, MoveOn.org has been criticized for adopting the same platform as then-Presidential candidate Barack Obama[citation needed]. Their response is that their platform hasn't changed; Barack Obama is listening to them.
